Yes, anyone can list an event* in our calendar for free.
No registration, no login, simply apply with details about the event.
*Events have dates – if it doesn’t have dates then its not an event but a business listing (see Category below) - Application approval
Every application is reviewed for quality, consistency and compliance*
Time frame: 2 – 48 hours. - Where will the listing appear?

Below the body content is an UPDATE link/button.
Applies to all listings (event, venue and business) for corrections to description, address, dates, times, links and cancellations. - Category (not considered for free listings)

Featured Advertising
- What happens after a Featured order is placed?
1. Complete a financial statement (payment information) sent by email.
2. After receiving a completed statement, the listing is activated (2-6 hours)
3. Confirmed by a welcome email containing advice, links and invoice (PDF).

FAQ – Listing Application Guidelines
- Event Title [Heading]
The title should accurately match the ticket title (maximum 65 characters) and not include dates, venue or additional wording.
No all CAPITALS (favoured by advertising agencies, juniors 5-15, male 60+ and rock bands).
No promotional ‘bylines’ in the title (add bylines to the first line in description field).
No acronyms: WTFIT (usually they mean nothing to readers)
Title Format = Artist (name/s): Exhibition/Tour (name) – (example = Sidney Nolan: Kelly Series) - IMAGE | Header
A single horizontal format hero image is positioned under the listing title.
Best: Landscape orientation 700x200pixels.
Images are proportionally resized 700px wide during the upload process
Accepted file types: .jpg .jpeg .gif .png
File size: 5Mb (anything larger will cause the upload to fail) - Dates/s
Use the date picker to select a start date and end date.
One day event = select ‘same’ start/end date.
- Event Title [Heading]
Events ending after midnight (12am to 8am) are considered a One day event = select ‘same’ start/end date.
- Rejected Applications?
Every application is reviewed for quality, consistency and compliance*. By Australian Media law there are guidelines and laws for every kind of advert.
Common reject reasons:
– Duplicate applications (same event)
– Not an event (Business: Company, Service)
– Online event (Not Australian)
– ALL CAPS
– Inappropriate content
– Not a public event or unknown (tba) venue
